In this video we address the Pythagoreans – a group of Ancient Greeks who first devised what we would today consider to be ‘resonance’. Also covered is the Fibonacci sequence, orbital resonance and the Perseus B-flat black hole, linking together the ways in which music has paralleled these developments in harmony, philosophy and astrophysics. Going from the pre-socratics right up to the present day, I hope you find this as interesting as I have found it enjoyable to learn about and put together.
