Lest We Forget
What would happen if time bled from 1914 to the present day? Would we make the same mistakes that led us to fighting The Great War? Guerilla filming, skills training, re-enactors, stylists, newspaper sellers, camera obscura, social media past and present are all elements under consideration for our 'experiment' which will result in a film, a documentary, an installation, an intervention and an exhibition in Folkestone - all aimed at addressing our core question 'what happens if we forget'- the lost generations now.. and then (1914-18) We aim to challenge and provoke, encourage and reflect. Time bleeds is a collaborative project developed by three key cultural UCA, Viola Films and Matt Rowe. Time bleeds is part of the 'prosper' program recently launched by Canterbury city festival.
