The life and death of an American expat in the Philippines

Martin is an American overseas in the Philippines. Stopping for dinner and a few cold ones at his friend Manny's restaurant, Martin is suddenly enlightened about the plight of the Filippino people, the crushing cost of liberty and the terrible weight of capitalism. In a night no one will ever forget, Martin succumbs to his fate on the floor of the restaurant, another lost soul in a foreign country.
