On an island strewn with waste, a disheveled man lives in perpetual isolation - until one day, a woman is washed ashore and his world as he knows it is changed forever.
An old man lives in isolation, the beach and ocean surrounding him are strewn with plastic, only a few frail weeds grow between the piles of waste. He spends his days rooting in the refuse below a glaring sun, collecting things in an old sac he drags behind himself. As the land around him falls into ruin and decay, the man has survived through conservation and isolation. That is until, one day, a woman washes ashore and for her survival is not enough.
