"Where I Belong" is the story of Rosemarie, a young woman growing up in 1950s England, torn between her life as a party-loving young Englishwoman, and having to look after her father, Austrian émigré Friedrich. Friedrich lost his family estate in Austria during the war, and dreams of going back to his homeland. When Friedrich's old friend and fellow Austrian émigré Anton moves to town, he and Rosemarie have an affair which will throw her life upside down - but will allow her, ultimately, to work out where she belongs...
