"Wooly Hair" is a short film the presents Nina, a young woman that is on the brink of learning and understanding her natural hair overcoming her hair type insecurities. We witness Nina follow the steps to style her natural hair with the raw emotions of self-acceptance and the start of self-love. Her feel-good factor inspires her to get a specific hair product to help achieve her perfect styled afro where she experiences something she never noticed before. A relatable story from most women of colour and a raw misunderstanding from the masses, we uplift and educate the beautiful differences of coarse and curly hair though Nina’s journey.
