A film about the Abortion referendum on Ireland and its effects an Irish family
Set during the build-up to the Ireland 2018 abortion referendum, X is the story of Emily Healy, a sixteen-year-old senior at school who discovers she’s pregnant. Born into an Irish Catholic family to two dedicated parents (Sharon and George) and not ready for a child, she’s forced to make a choice for her future, a choice that only she should be the one to make.
