I've been with my commercial agent for a couple of years now and she used to get me a lot of auditions but lately she doesn't even respond to my emails, let alone get me seen by casting directors!
I'm on the hunt for a new agent at the moment (not just for commercial work either!) but of all the actors I know not one of them seems to be happy with their agency. I've done plenty of research myself but unfortunately you never really know if an agent will be any good for you until you're signed with them so I would love to go on a recommendation. Is anyone happy with their agent/gets plenty of castings and would genuinely recommend them to other actors?
I don't want an agent that is only able to put me up for the kind of jobs I could apply to myself on CCP and Spotlight - ideally I need someone who is going to try and get me through the door for castings I have no access to on my own (and not expect to take a hefty 15% off my low paid CCP roles!)
Any advice/recommendations would be very much appreciated!
