Have I left it too late?

Hiya, I just wanted to know whether I have left it too late to organise taking my production to the Edinburgh Festival.

I thought I wasn't going to have enough money but now think I can get sponsorship and I'm not really sure where to begin.

Any help or advice much appreciated.

Thanks,
A

Hi
You'll still be able to get in, but don't know if you'll have missed some of the publicity deadlines. Would imagine not though.

Look at www.edfringe.com
It gives all sorts of info about taking a show up there.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

It doesn't look too late to get into the Fringe Brochure. I would say even though there are so many listings in the brochure it's pretty important as when you out and about on the Royal Mile you grap a brochure plus newspaper listings and scan rather than look online.
The only thing which maybe hard is getting a good slot at a good venue for the right price.
The Fringe website plus the venues usually have a checklist you can work through plus very helpful people.

Make sure you send your press releases off early and you follow up with phonecalls to get your reviewers in for the 1st week.

Happy preparing :)

Thanks Guys for your advice, I checked that website out and now I've managed to bag myself a great deal on a theatre just off the Royal Mile.

Now just have to organise accomodation!
