Casting notifications
Twice today I have had job notifications, only to find that I was the wrong gender. What is going on? Is this something to do with not daring to state in the advert a particular gender, or is it mismanagement? I despair.

Is it possible to change your notification settings so you only receive emails about the kind of jobs you're interested in? It's very frustrating getting emails about jobs that I'm not qualified for and/or interested in (e.g. teaching, theatre) or that are an unrealistic distance for unpaid work.
I was a member of Mandy in the past and you could filter job notifications by type and distance but I can't find that setting since the big update last year. Thank you!

I didn't renew my premium membership last year after the disastrous Backstage takeover - and the situation I found myself, and you are finding yourselves, in.
The "exciting new changes" were shorthand for 'we're removing features from Mandy and running it down'.
I've seen it before in big business, companies buy out competitors, to then just destroy them and remove them from the market.
From everything I've seen on here since last April, that looks like exactly what Backstage are doing.
Yes, since the website update/merge with Backstage I've stopped receiving notifications altogether...
