Is it just me or is there any way of actually seeing if clients have opened your audition and listened to it on this site?
It seems very "clunky" these days and I wonder if I`m auditioning blind half the time compared to other voice over sites. Any help or advice appreciated. I`ve asked Mandy and they haven`t been any help so far!
Hi Pete, if you go onto your applications page and order by 'View Date' you can get a list of the ones that have been viewed, and the most recently viewed is at the top. It's not great (and is far worse than the old version) but gives you at least some indication... Also, when you click on your application, if you scroll down it tells you the 'Application Status'. 99% of the time this blank (unhelpfully!!!!) but occasionally it says 'Under consideration' or 'Job closed' - it seems to rely on the person updating that section.

I've found since the update to this website it is looking less and less worth using in future - bugger all seems to get viewed now. I've no idea why. Looks like, as mentioned in other discussions on here, they're pushing mandy.com to the back of the heap. Shame... it was half decent before. Now seems not worth the money. I used to get loads of viewed applications, under consideration, then mailed about it. Now zilch.

Hello all, is Mandy still better than the other sites? Or are you on all of them?
Personally I have much more confidence in other sites.
I've joined Bodalgo but it is heinously over-priced for premium membership so as a non-premium member I'm just looking at the jobs which are coming up - there's not much on there tbh. I'm on backstage but that has a bidding process which I don't like - I believe we should be paid a fee for the job we do, not have it ramped down to a bidding war... the old mandy.com was the best and now we have nothing equivalent it seems. Has mandy.com been taken over by one of the others...?
I'm sure I saw something to that effect a while back.
I would say Voice 123 is arguably the best I have experienced, but it is pricey!
Mandy & Star now have been taken over by the American company Backstage, that's why we're seeing all these changes. The end goal (With the research I've done) is to have all three sites under one roof. I.E same interface so when you update one site it updates them all.
