Am I the only one to check how many profile views I've had on my dashboard....find it's gone up by several dozen.....get a frisson of excitement that perhaps it's all the employers I've sent auditions to....and then find it's nearly all 'candidates...'?
It's OK. Honestly love you all really but job offers are great too !!!
Hi Jane, no you are not the only one. I've often wondered why others check on fellow candidates as we never know who has applied for which job so they can't be checking the competition. I put it down to my dazzling good looks, charm and modesty wowing them.

I've noticed this increasingly more over the last week or so... but then again... I instantly feel inclined to look at their profile too, so then end up in the list of their profile views!
Let's be honest though, deep down we like to be noticed. But I appreciate Carla's comment, a few checks a day from over and over can also feel kinda creepy...

We are sorry to hear that you are concerned about your profile views. Please do remember that there are 3 types of profile views:
- File: The user has viewed your file.
- Profile: The user has only viewed your profile.
- Search Result: You have appeared in the user's search results but they have not viewed your profile directly.

I just wish they would stop listing search engine bots as "profile views"... I know you can hide your profile from search engines, but that's not necessarily desireable... but I don't really get why they need to be listed as "views"... it's a hangover from CCP and wish they would just get rid of it...
I'm with you, Roger, the 'bots' views are just clutter and noise - and meaningless.
I sometimes find my 'candidate' views suddenly spike every now and again and I wonder if it's down to the little window top right where they sometimes feature random artists (I haven't checked if it's still there or not) - and presumably if you pop up, people will click on you...
Of course commenting on here does sometimes invoke candidate views as well.... go on... you know you want to look at me!
Thanks for your comments above. I personally don't feel there is anything 'creepy' or 'untoward' in the views I'm receiving, but the overwhelming majority of views I'm getting are from user's search results. By your own definition, this means the user hasn't viewed my profile directly, however my profile views counter increases dramatically in correlation to appearing in these searches.
I wondered if there was any chance the profile viewing system could be reviewed? It sounds like enough members here would support a review of this feature, and would also agree that it isn't an issue of anyone's safety being compromised (if anyone does feel that way, contact The Mandy Team urgently!!), rather a slight disappointment that it's not an *actual* view by a potential employer!

I had a sitch a few weeks back when my views flat lined - for about a week - frightening . Untill I contacted admin and they said there had been a fault and that they fixed it. Back to lots of bots! phew!
