Win classes with Auditions For Commercials!!!

Auditions For Commercials , workshops hosted by acclaimed casting directors Tree Petts and Lou Clouter, can help you gain the skills and confidence needed to make the most of your commercial castings and get you into more frequent paid work.

What's included in the workshop?

Drama Auditions & Commercial Castings – the differences explained; helping to dispel the mystery and remove the fear from the casting process by explaining what goes on behind the scenes.

Tips and Techniques / Do’s and Don’ts – running through the list of valuable tips, techniques & advice on how children should present themselves, pointing out the do’s and don’ts of auditioning for a commercial.

Idents – the initial stage of a casting where the child introduces themselves to camera and responds to questions. Children are encouraged to show their personality.

Commercial Scripts – working with commercial scripts in front of a camera. This is then reviewed on-screen whilst each child is given valuable feedback and helpful advice regarding their individual performances. This is crucial as it enables the child to look at what they have done and we can show them where and how to improve.

The 'playing age range' limit you can set up on your KidsCCP profile is any 3-year period (that best represents the age you LOOK) between the ages of 5 and 17.

A 3 year range. This could be +/-1 year from your actual age (e.g. a 12 year old could qualify as an 11 to 13 year old). But really depends on the individual who may for instance already be 12 years old but looks older, in which case they could state their actual age +2 years maybe, or even though they are 12 put 13 to 15 as the playing age because they are tall for their age for example.
I myself am almost 13 but my profile playing age is 11 to 14 at the moment.

The age range cannot be set higher than 3 years. Apart i.e. My age range is 10-13 even though I am 12, as I am small for my age.

The only advice I can see is that you choose an age that matches your looks - and if you have a range of ages that you can play then you choose the mid-point of that age range that you think you belong in - which will usually be somewhere near your actual age.

The playing age on KIDSCCP can be set from 5 - 17, so a range of 12 years. Generally 3 years difference from min to max. example 11-14 years.
