Tips for good skin

I'm having some new headshots done next Tuesday, and I wondered if you guys had any beauty tips for me in the build up to it? I'm going to drink lots and lots of water, but thats about all I can think of!

Scott I've been thinking about this and I'd guess that the body will try to compensate for what's missing. So oily skin would normally suggest that the body is struggling to maintain the hydration levels in the skin adequately. Caffeine being a diuretic can't help the body to maintain homeostasis so ditch the caffeine and stop moisturising for a while and see if the body regulates itself perhaps.

(I'm having my third cup of coffee now I hasten to add!)

Got to start the day with a good brew. x

Once quite a while back I was depressed. I did twix therapy - yes that's right twix therapy. Get a bag of fun size twix. Hide them in the cupboard from the children. Help yourself whenever you want & eat them sneakily in the bathroom. Mot good. Too much junk in the body. Got bad eczema afterwards.

Guys,

I've been reading this thread and taken lots of good tips for myself (cheeky!)
just to add my two-penneth worth I'm still suffering with adolescent skin and the occassional bag under my eye (hazard of the stress of the job I guess!) but recently I was introduced to live wheatgrass, little bit pricey but my skin is really thanking me for it! One shot a day with fresh juice seems to be helping me a lot so I would definately recommend it! For quick fixed, pure tea tree oil as well, ooh and steaming!

Hope this helps! Enjoy your shoot!

Love to everyone!
Jo :) x

Thanks for all your advice guys. I took it all on board, and stuck to a pretty good 'fresh fruit, 2 litres of water a day and plenty of sleep' routine.

You can see the shots here http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3612160/ - and shortly on this site too.

Big moisturised love to you all.

Scott, for oily skin, a dose of homeopathic sulphur tables works wonders - it cleared my son's oily skin (and hair) a treat. Get from Boots or any other chemist.

Eeeek! I meant of course, tablets - not tables, although I suppose if you lay on a sulphur table, it might help the whole body :-))

I keep the skin I use for auditions and headshot sessions in a bank vault. And I've got another with the skin of Doreen Grey in it. I tried to get Dorian's but it was too pricey for me.
