Pete Postlethwaite
Just seen that Pete Postlethwaite has died. He was an amazing actor and at only 64, he should have had years left to work. It's so sad.
Really saddened by the news this morning. He was such a lovely man, as well as a great actor.

Absolutely shocked by the news.. A good friend is training along side his son. My heart goes out to the family. What a perfect actor.
I had the honour of working alongside Pots on Criminal Justice! The man was a class act, a gentleman and genuinely humble! A sad sad loss!
Pete was always among the tops on my favourite actors list.Yes, such humility, and intensity and truth. Fantastic that you worked with him, Forbes.I saw him on stage at the Oxford Playhouse in his one man tour-de-force, 'Scaramouche Jones.' A stunning performance from a brilliant man.
I had the privilege of working alongside Pete in The Sins, apart from being a superb actor, I also found him to be one of life's true gentlemen. I was deeply saddened by the news of his passing. He will be missed by so many people. God Bless Pete.

According to 'The Stage' newspaper today:
"Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is to establish a scholarship fund in honour of the late actor Pete Postlethwaite with the support of his family."
