Manchester - Free Workshops and Branch

David Corden
Actor

Just to let North West based actors know that you next Equity Branch meeting is this Monday 16th April at 1pm at the Green Room, Whitworth Street West (near Oxford Road Station).
Besides some pressing industry issues for discussion on the agenda, we will still be accepting cv's for the free workshop with Jacob Murray (Royal Exchange director) to take place in early to mid May. We will also be revealing more information on the proposed showcases and play reading projects, along with our City Theatre Initiative (Fringe) plans.
Please get there if you can and come for a drinkie afterwards at the Cornerhouse, where they do a great Raspberry beer (hic).

If you absolutely can't make it to the meeting due to other commitments and want to be considered for the workshop, please email your cv to equity_nw@onetel.com or post to the Manchester Equity office. Please mark to the attention of 'David Corden - NWEGB Workshops -JM'.

Hope to see many of you there.

All Equity members (including student members)in the area are welcome to attend, but if you want to ensure that you get plenty of notice of meetings and events in the North West, the please call the Manchester Equity Office on 0161 832 3183 and request that you be added to the North West of England General Branch register.

Cheers.

You've worked so hard for your Branch. Free workshops with the artistic director of the Manchester Royal exchange!!.

Those North West of England Equity Branch members are lucky bastards.

Given that you are 'lucky bastards' as Tracey says, you have to work very hard to get as lucky as you are! Well done, Dave, for organising that! What a brilliant opportunity for the 'Red Rose' members!
I'm sorry I can't be there to share a 'raspberry lager' or two. I'm working on a film....or is it a commercial?
