OPENING NIGHT TONIGHT
HI all,
I open tonight in the lead role of AIDEN MCTELL in a new muscial called the SECRETS OF LIFE AND LOVE in Oxford tonight. Its a VIP function with top industry people- hold thumbs for me- its beena tough seven week rehearsal period but here goes!!!!

A triumph. Considering the last seven weeks have been SO stressful. I was told in effect i was one of the best in the cast, and the swedish and european dipolomats who came to see it said I gave a spotless peformance. I think the european tour will happen, but its another story if they will ask me to do it again.. rumour has it they are re auditioning everyone for it, which is annoying as I created the damn role!!!!!
Re Auditioning!! It sounds like the recent job situation for the Civil Service where everyone had to re apply for the jobs they'd been doing for years!! It was a device to drive down their wages and pension rights.
This is more of a case of 'getting to know you better' and maybe negotiating salaries too, methinks!
Since you 'own' the role there won't be any doubt that you are 'the man' for it!
