PFD DISBANDED

You prob all knew anyway but just incase- there's been some uproar and all the agents have resigned to start up another agency= So PFD will still exist but not as we know it, with new agents. The new agency is called United Artist and will set up somewhere different from January. (Not to be confused with UA out in LA)

This happened quite a while ago. They're still trying to hold on to a number of the larger agents like Lindy King but some have already left such as Maureen Vincent.

I believe the address for UA which is already formed is 170 Shaftsbury Avenue...: D

OK...my mistake. It's 130 Shaftsbury Avenue and the agents already defected are Ruth Young, Duncan Hayes, Maureen Vincent, Hannah Begbie, Charles Walker and Natasha Galloway.

They are expected to be joined by the other agents that made up the Actors Dept at PFD in Jan.

It's actually called 'United Agents' not United Artists.

Now would be a terrible time to write tho- If you are going to. May I suggest leaving it a few months!

forgive me sounding stupid but why would it be a terrible time to write? obviously you would need to have a list a known credits to approache them in first place , but i am sure opportunities will arise from this

Agree, now would be an excellent time to make contact with United. All existing artists represented by PFD will be contracted to PFD as a company not the agents themselves so United will definately be looking for (new) talent to represent and the individual agents wll be the ones with all the contacts.

Definate opportunities I feel.

That's what I think not...that I'm never wrong mind you!!

well Firstly I would think- Not that I know because I totally don't, but I would think that moving in and establishing themselves as a new agency would be their priority. (If it was my business thats what I would do and I'd bin all surplus- remember this is a business) Also (And this fact) ALL agents are taking ALL their clients with them! ALL of them. But I guess what do you have to loose! Go for it- Hopefully I'll be wrong (That happens alot- so it wouldn't be the first time).
