Does anyone have 2.30 minutes to critique my showreel please?

Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice/feedback on my reel please. I have recently tweaked after asking on an industry Facebook group it but am not sure if the clips are in the best order to display my acting; if its too long in some places; and if there are any clips I should remove or bring forward.

Could someone please help?

Many thanks in advance for taking the time.

*Sorry just a note - my reel is also on my profile - so you don't have to go to the link I put in my first post - please do feel free to look at it on my profile.

Thanks!

Hi Veronica, bloody good stuff on there. I am no expert on these things and all I can do is say well done. My preferences are Debbie: I remember you and the one straight after that which I would say possibly move further to the front to definately be seen as they are more mainstream roles. Other than that I feel sure it is only a matter of time before your dreams are realised, you are just about the full package and I would love to watch you on mainstream TV and film XXX

Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words Julia - it really means the world to me! Just trying to figure out this mad game we're all in and attempting to show my work in a good light. the nudges in the right direction are so appreciated. :)

Your showreel is spot on. I was emerged in every scene. The first scene had a lot of screen presence.

Your photos are yourself with altered looks. There a lot but a lot to show for

Very interesting profile and I'm sure it will work of you in the acting.

Thank you very much Candice! Nice to know the first scene is good - I was worried that I needed to do the angrier scene first to 'start with a bang' - still undecided but this helps me inform the next edit, thank you :)

I loved it! Very strong acting. I would remove the last Jedi scene completely and maybe make one of the stronger scenes longer. I would put the scene where you are dressed as an elf last because that was more focused on the guy than you. My favorite is the Debbie scene. Hope that helps? I'm no expert, just honest opinion.

Its great! I agree with Yasmine above, maybe lose the last jedi scene. its not as compelling/ professional as the others. Really nice mix of looks and acting.
