The team are now seeking an experienced Programming & Community Engagement Manager to work with the Bid Director, stakeholders and wider communities within the city to develop an inclusive and impactful programme for the journey to 2025 and for the year itself. Working with the City’s diverse communities you will undertake proactive community engagement shaped by our consultation framework and encompassing a range of activities, to ensure the bid and programme reflects the needs and ambitions of the City’s residents.You will be able to demonstrate experience of developing cultural programmes or projects across a range of different artforms. The ability to demonstrate experience of engaging inclusively with communities and stakeholders, together with devising and producing a wide range of cultural activities is essential. You will be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and have a flexible approach across a wide range of cultural partners. The ability to work at pace and balance multiple priorities simultaneously is required.
