    We are an organisation that offers children and young people regardless of race or gender, the opportunity to explore their individuality and learn to appreciate their self-worth. Our programmes delivered in schools and community settings use music and dance as a platform to manage mental and physical wellbeing and give children and young people the skills to develop confidence, resilience and aspiration.During lockdown we have developed a 'Lockdown Learning' Hub to reach children and young people and are currently supporting them through our digital programmes. As schools move back into the classroom we are running a variety of sessions some digitally and some in person, under strict guidelines.We are looking for individuals with one or some of the following skills, abilities and experience:DancersSingersMusiciansSongwritersWork is offered on a freelance basis so you must be flexible to work in person and digitally.Programme delivery will include:- Encouraging self expression through music and dance- Teaching street dance and hip-hop techniques- Teaching songwriting to explore emotions and expression- Developing music making abilities- Supporting young people's mental health issues- Providing an environment for safe discussion- Following a strict weekly delivery plan set out to include certain topics and themes- Collating data and information regarding the delivered sessions- Preparing and researching appropriate content for sessions- Working with the Freedom Foundation team towards our common goalsIf you have a passion for supporting young people's mental health and knowledge of the power of how music and dance can empower the mind, then we may be the right organisation for you.Salary: £10.00-£30.00 per hour
