Freelance Craft CreativeRole Purpose:Are you a crafty person looking for occasional super fun, creative work? We are looking for crafty people to make content with us for our brand; Craft Factory. You could be someone who specialises in one type of craft or can do a variety of many. The ideal candidate for the role would be someone willing to learn to film in our London studio or already have your own space and camera to film from home. We at Jungle Creations are looking to build up a network of creatives to help us make videos our audience will love! If you are one of our creatives we will hire you on an ad-hoc basis to make content for us and with us using your crafty skills. You will be paid as a freelancer, per video content you create, payment terms depend on your skill level as a crafter as well as if you are filming with us in the studio or from home. Key Responsibilities:Understand briefs and write up craft methods. Source items and craft supplies within a budget. Prepare crafts ready for filming. Film content with or without a videographer dependent on skill level. Keep your work area tidy. Work to a deadline. Deep understanding of the online crafting world. Additional desired experience (but not essential):Can film with a DSLR camera Own your own camera kit and lightingHave your own space to film Can edit on Final Cut/Premiere ProKey skills and competencies:Skills: Crafty and arty!Great at problem solvingGood at coming up with ideas Resourceful Neat and methodical in your workFlexible with your timeHave an understanding of social content and what crafty audiences online like to watch. Have your own computer for meetings, receiving documents to work from, and to help communicate with the inhouse team. Specific skills we would love to see: Chocolate workMoulding and casting with cement and plasterResin crafts and hacks. Treat and cake decoration hacks and unusual methods. Crafts with satisfying processes.If you are interested in becoming one of our crafters or want to know more then contact us with a brief cover letter about you, your CV listing your craft skills, your general availability and how much notice you need for work. Full job description with info about Jungle Creations attached.
