Heart Failure is not your average musical. There are no dance numbers, no jazz hands and no happy endings. This is a love story about sex, heart break and getting over an ex who has f**ked you over.We are looking to collaborate with fresh, new talent to create real and interesting characters to feature in this mental new musical. Both the characters are written but are still in development, so we are looking for actors we can write with to develop the characters specifically for them. The story follows him falling in love with a one-night stand before having his heart completely and utterly broken. We follow him through the many stages of getting over someone and the role requires strong singing ability and confident comic timing.Ali is Franks best friend and housemate. They are confident, powerful, self-assured and uninterested in romance. The role requires strong singing ability and confident comic timing as well. This is a character we’d especially like to develop with an actor so get in touch if this interests you.Extensive singing experience required for both roles, but preferably not musical theatre. We are looking for people with distinct and interesting features who will make really memorable characters.
