Immersion Theatre is seeking an MD/Accompanist for their rescheduled open-air, summer 2021 UK tour of “The Jungle Book”!



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR



The Jungle Book will be touring with a company of 6; 5 actors and 1 MD/Accompanist.



All music is played live by the accompanist. This is a brand-new version of the Rudyard Kipling classic, complete with original script and score.



Our shows are high-energy, larger-than-life, and pantomimic in style. Depending on your outlook, outdoor touring can either be a challenge, or a fantastic way to see the country, catch some sun (or rain!), perform to thousands of appreciative families over the summer and come back with many an anecdote!

Rehearsals 



London – June 21, 22, 28, 29, 30



Performances – 2nd July – 1st September



July: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th,26th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st



August:1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th,28th, 29th, 30th, 31st.



September:1st



NB. 8 Dates in bold are currently TBC.



PAYMENT



All transport and accommodation (hotel) for the tour will be provided by the theatre. Please note, single rooms are not provided.



Additionally:



Driver - £4010 plus holiday pay



Non driver - £3620 plus holiday pay



This fee does not include the 8 dates which are still TBC. Should they be confirmed, the fee will be increased to include these.



INTERVIEWS



All interviews will take place via zoom



This is a non-exclusive contract meaning that the chosen candidate will be able to commit to other work as long as it in no way interferes with the above dates or their ability to carry out their duties on this engagement.



Our ideal candidate will be driven, passionate, creative, have a fantastic work ethic and a pro-active attitude. We all help with the get-ins and get-outs and perform in rain or shine.
