We invite you to apply to the role of a Lecturer in Music to contribute to the teaching and supervision of musicology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be expected to contribute to the teaching of historical musicology with a specialism in Western art music history over the long nineteenth century. You should have a growing portfolio of internationally-recognized research outputs and will be able to contribute significantly to Newcastle's research culture. You will need to demonstrate a track record, or your potential to develop a track record, of high quality teaching within a higher education environment, as well as experience of having effective administration capabilities. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and engagingly to students, staff and external audiences. You will be able to work within a diverse and plural teaching and research environment.
