STORY: A hardworking insecure girl from a poor family is forced to make an irreversible sacrifice in order to both rescue her family and continue her studies at University.The film is loosely based on a chapter from Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment”.This is a low budget social impact film, written and produced as a part of PhD research in Lancaster University. Therefore we prefer actors based around Lancaster and Manchester to be able to afford to cover travel expenses to the set.
