The roleWe are looking for an experienced marketing communications writer specialising in financial services/asset management to join our established marketing services department, based in our asset management function in London. The role represents an opportunity to work within our respected EMEA Marketing team. We are a diverse group of marketers committed to delivering insights, tools and solutions to help our clients meet their financial goals. We work in a collaborative way across all regions and value different perspectives and ideas to help us achieve our goals.Candidates for the role will ideally have at least five years' asset management writing and editorial experience, for both retail and institutional investors, and have experience of content design for digital. A strong understanding of asset management products and services is essential, including ETFs, along with a broad knowledge of global financial markets, macroeconomic themes, alternative investments and sustainable investing.Core responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to deliver writing and editorial support primarily to our retail and institutional teams.The successful candidate's main responsibilities will include:Working with campaign managers, digital marketing and the head of content to create campaign materials, including web pages, advertising, emails, brochures, social posts and video scriptsProducing high quality copy for a suite of marketing materials-both offline and online-to help promote our range of focus funds and themesEditorial support for our Market Insights programme, which includes regular market and investment insight article and papers covering a broad range of asset classes and productsApplying J.P. Morgan's writing guidelines and house style guide to all copy published by the firmThe candidate will also be expected to help manage processes and delegate work within the team, and work with freelance writing resources to manage capacity effectively.Core requirementsThe successful candidate will have the following attributes:Extensive experience in investment writing/product content experienceStrong digital content experienceA background in asset management and a strong knowledge of all product areas including equities, fixed income, liquidity, multi-asset investing, ETFs, sustainable investing and alternativesA strong knowledge of economics and marketsAn ability to work independently within a team structureAn ability to write and edit for multiple distribution channels, including financial advisers and institutional investors.A minimum level of qualification, including the Investment Management Certificate or similar asset management qualifications
