We're MA Film students at Screen Academy Scotland / Edinburgh Napier University. We're looking for an actress for the lead role of our upcoming short film.It is a visually ambitious, character driven piece about self love. The story is about Kiara's self-discovery journey, who is constantly testing what it means to be awake in a world that seems satisfied to fall asleep. Inspired by films such as All These Sleepless Nights, Victoria, American Honey, a/o. Even though it is a scripted drama we are looking to experiment and come up with "documentary-like", realistic performances.
