Who Am I? is a psychological horror about a mother (Beth, late 20's early 30's ) who takes her young daughter (under 10) to a family home not lived in for 10 years. Left to her in a will, she must clear it out to sell, but in doing so old demons come to the fore.The short film will have a final run time of 10 mins or under.Directed by Christopher Newberry, whose recent feature film, Retreat, is in post-production in a top London post-house, is working from an award-winning script by writer Matt Brothers.Director of Photography is Howard Mills, BAFTA accredited DP of many well-known music videos and television commercials - and DP on Retreat.Executive produced by Stefan Georgiou, award-winning feature and shorts director.Excitingly, the film will be shot on 16mm film - yes, real film! This is a bonus for any filmmaker and actor resume looking to stand out!Using fantastic equipment, we will be looking to produce a film that is to go to international festivals and further the careers of all involved.We're all based in London and the South East but we have found the perfect location in Staffordshire. Travel and hotel will be covered on top of fee.The film is personally funded by Christopher and Howard - who are both passionate about the material and shooting on film - and because of that, the limited budget is going mostly on film stock. We hope the day rate is suitable and with travel and food covered we hope this allows those interested to get in touch to work on a special project.
