Experience of international touring, the Middle East and Arabic speaking is desirable but not essential.Kan Yama Kan is a reimagined version of ‘One Thousand And One Nights.’ which is an iconic collection of tales, compiled over centuries and rooted in Asian and Middle Eastern folklore and mythology. The production will be a hybrid mix of traditional storytelling and comedy, immersive theatre,contemporary circus, eclectic music, innovative design and choreography; providing a magical experience to audiences.The story begins on the wedding day of Furat and Sayf – a young couple yearning to live an adventurous life, which they imagine together through the stories Furat weaves. Beginning with the tale of Shahrazad, in which a bride must tell a thousand and one stories to save her own life, Furatand Sayf explore their insecurities and desires, and learn together what love and power mean, in relationship between men and women.
