We are currently recruiting for the position of General Technician Broadcast for Disney Cruise Line.Responsibilities:Assist the Senior Broadcast Technician to program and maintain the automated scheduling and video server playback systemsAssist with updating the ship’s Digital Signage system• Operate vision switching equipment and remote cameras for events and shows in all ship wide venuesMan tripod mounted cameras in the Walt Disney Theatre and Shipwide venues for IMAG of variety performers and guest speakersMPEG Encoding of all material for archive and transmissionBasic Qualifications:Minimum two years experience in a relevant television/broadcast industry• Experience in a TV station MCR or cruise ship broadcast center an advantageENG camera and location audio experienceExposure to video–over-IP networks and IPTV an advantageKnowledge of computer systems or computerized control systems, preferred, including knowledge of DOS and Windows 3.1 operating systemsTrade school/college diploma, preferredSelf-motivated person, able to work with little supervision
