    The Social Media Manager UK & EMEA will work with the Senior Manager, Social Media UK & EMEA to help identify, create and deliver high quality, digital experiences for individual audiences utilising the unique capabilities and opportunities provided by each media platform via Disney’s stable of owned accounts. These experiences will address constantly changing consumer expectations, drive innovation and increase brand loyalty through engaging content, guiding consumers along the path to conversion.The role requires an extensive understanding of best practice and the latest trends in Social Media Marketing to advise on high quality, digital experiences for individual audiences. These experiences will address constantly changing consumer expectations, drive brand loyalty through engaging content, and guide consumers along the path to purchase.The person in this role will need to call on their extensive experience of publishing first rate social video that reaches millions, be on top of the latest trends and innovations in social across all social platforms (current and emerging), be an ambassador for innovation and encouraging of a test-and-learn approach. This person will work with various stake holders across the business, in both LOBs and Markets, with a wide range of understanding, and will need to be able to communicate clearly and persuasively.Responsibilities:The Manager, Disney+ Social Media, UK & EMEA will be the point person to ensure successful running of social platforms and campaigns across UK/EMEA. The primary responsibilities of the role are:Set and deliver campaign strategies that encourage subscription and retention to deliver a high-affinity audience primed to receive Disney+ marketing messages, with a specific focus on audience-centric publishing and platform-specific best practicesOversee and implement an ongoing test and learn framework that seeks to constantly improve the reach and impact of our messages so they can deliver results of real value to the businessPlan & oversee the local implementation of social strategies driving Disney+ business objectives in a collaborative manner ensuring UK & EMEA requirements are metIntegrate & align with social opportunities across the business that deepen audience engagement with TWDC and ultimately meet (and exceed) required business objectives, KPIs and ROI – leveraging digital partnership & monetisation opportunities wherever possibleDevelop performance reports for distribution to regional and local stakeholders on all Disney+ social media projects and initiatives; formulate frameworks for standardized benchmarking and contextualise results within local market landscape.Manage relationships with tech and platform solutions predominantly used by social media teams (e.g. LastPass; Woobox; CreatorIQ; Influencer Intelligence; Linktree; Khoros, Tubular Labs)Contribute to EMEA social governance projects, platforms, playbooks and best practice social guidelines, working closely with Senior Manager, Social Media, Legal and Compliance – responsible for their approval and rollout in markets.Work with EMEA markets on account launches and best practice recommendationsSupport on cross-company social media initiatives, driving both strategy and creative, working closely with CPGP and other LOBs on major projects/events (e.g. Christmas, Summer)Build relationships with platform partners to keep updated on platform developments and new initiativesAccountable to the Senior Manager, Disney+ Social Media, UK & EMEAResponsible for the delivery of the overall social media marketing plan, strategy and tactics agreed to meet business objectives, ensuring timely delivery within budget.Work with the Senior Manager, Disney+ Social Media UK & EMEA to ensure all campaigns come in within the approved LOB budget, achieve/ exceed benchmarks and are delivered on time.Effective and efficient budget management including ensuring all payments to external vendors (platforms & agencies) are managed appropriatelyKeep abreast of the evolving digital landscape and share knowledge and guidance to further develop the digital expertise of the broader teamResponsible for ensuring the smooth-running, accountability and delivery of social media tech platforms across EMEA markets.Manage and develop the Social Media Supervisor and Social Media Intern.Basic Qualifications:7+ years’ work experience in social media marketing departments (client and/or agency)Interested in all aspects of digital (products, platforms, search, technology, etc)Ability to read your audience, adapt quickly, manage stakeholder needs across a complex matrix organisationExceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsConfident and assertive while being diplomatic and tactfulResourceful and pro-active – can resolve conflict & look for solutions and information in creative waysInspirational, team player who can continue to motivate and influence others whilst under pressureStrong negotiating and influencing skillsAdaptable and flexible (with working hours, travel, getting things done) – a problem solverInterested in trends, new initiatives, and staying one step ahead of the competitionResourceful and pro-active in approach - looks for solutions and information in creative waysExperience of working with Content Management Systems (native and third party)Expert knowledge and experience across all aspects of social media marketing with an aptitude to constantly identify, evolve and develop additional skills.Solid Digital Marketing Capabilities and Implementation SkillsCan understand and oversee live paid social media campaigns from start to finish – working with the in-house and agency performance teams to advise on reactive optimisation to deliver the most efficient and effective campaignsKnowledge and application of all paid media social platform opportunitiesCollaborative approach to building campaigns that drive resultsPrioritisation skills to ensure projects are kept on trackResourceful and pro-active in approach to questions - looks for solutions and information in creative waysStrong editorial/ copywriting skills and an ability to identify and ideate strong creative conceptsTeam player, problem solver, solutions oriented, and creative thinkerResults oriented – focused on meeting and exceeding established KPIsStrong management skills.
