So, we’ve developed a programme of events, workshops and webinars with a rich and diverse mix of content to appeal to everyone.A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE: BBC Good food digital (bbcgoodfood.com), is the UK’s no.1 food website and is looking for a digital health content producer to join the team on a full-time basis.Reporting into the Health Editor this role will be core to delivering BBC Good Food’s ambitious health content strategy. The successful applicant not only needs to possess first-class editorial skills but also should be able to demonstrate a passion for digital content.**Key accountabilitiesMonitor and report on health content performance monthly and make recommendations to optimise reach and continue growth.Identify key gaps in Good Food’s health and nutrition recipe and non-recipe content and be a continuous flow of ideas and inspiration for new content that will appeal to the Good Food audience.Ensure all content commissioned and published adheres to Good Food’s health philosophy and SEO best practices.Identify and write or commission reactive content to tight deadlines to ensure Good Food is relevant and part of the national conversation. This includes maintaining the health feature page, collections and associated content to ensure all content is surfaced and accessible, as well as ensuring the annual update of existing sensitive content is in line with the latest industry research and findings.Upload health content on site and be comfortable commissioning external contributors and internal staff on the production of multimedia content to include guides, video, infographics and recipes.RelationshipsWorking closely with the editor, designer, community manager, analyst and wider digital and brand teams to ensure all health content is produced and distributed in a cohesive and effective way.Liaise with internal and external content creators to ensure all assets are delivered and managed in line with complex and changeable deadlines.A BIT ABOUT YOU: Knowledge & SkillsHighest standard of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent grasp and understanding of SEO best practiceA demonstrable passion for and excellent knowledge of health and nutritionA proven record of working with sensitive contentExperience writing tight briefs for external contributorsThe ability to write copy in line with highest editorial standardsThe ability to work quickly to tight deadlines under pressureFlexibility and a professional approach at all timesThe ability to self-supervise in order to meet deadlinesAbility to work in and contribute to a fun and dynamic team-based environment*Professional Experience*Demonstrable experience working on a consumer-facing digital platform.Must be comfortable working with a variety of CMS platforms, analytical tools, basic html, Photoshop and image archives.A proven interest in health and nutrition.
