This surreal dark comedy follows an actor called Evan, who is quite literally forced to confront his anxieties before going on a date. During this process he has to face the personifications of his ‘id’ and ‘superego’ who take the forms of two casting directors, one beastly and one overwhelmingly moralistic. Ultimately, Evan works through the issues his subconscious berates him with and eventually overcomes them, now ready to go on his date.The film was written and will be directed by Rory Green, a student at Met Film School, who is studying for a masters in directing. He wrote the script based on his own experiences in order to create a a piece of work that personifies anxious thoughts and how to overcome them.
