Hi FolksI’m starting a new business, that will give Guided Meditations to groups of company employees over ZOOM.I will be doing all the marketing and admin, and I’m looking for Actors and Actresses who practice meditation, or have an interest in it. The training is pretty straight-forward, and it’s more about creating a gentle, warm and loving atmosphere, rather than what you say. You can find your own style and content that works for you. You are not teaching people to meditate, rather, they are just sitting quietly and listening to you.If you have a regular mediation practice, that would really help you to “get in the zone”; and if you practice Transcendental Meditation (TM) — as many creative people do — that would be a real advantage. I’ve practiced TM twice-a-day for 26 years!Each session you give, will last about 35 minutes, and your audience may be from just a few people, to hundreds:5m: Introduction and settling down, and then “Thought for the Day”.20m: Guided Meditation10m: Wind-down, and End. Then answering any questions.Training will be over ZOOM, and in person in NW3.Once you are up-and-running, you’ll be working-from-home, provided you have a fast and stable internet connection. We will set you up with the right IT, depending on what you have.You will have regular clients, at regular times, Monday to Friday, during working hours. And to some extent, you will be able to choose the days and times you work. You will of course be able to alter your work schedule as needed to fit-in auditions and suchlike; and when you get an acting job, you can suspend your work.You could do just 2 or 3 sessions a week if you wish, or many more. All depending on the clients we find of course.
