With a killer on the loose, a young woman is on her way to a party when her pathway is intercepted by a drunken man whose heart came to a dead stop.When an undeniably beautiful girl, Adira, is forced to go to a meeting with her friend Eric she decides to take a detour on her way. She gets dressed up only to buy a bottle of wine to help her through the social event.However, being in a world where walking alone dead at night is dangerous for women like her what will she do when she finds herself trapped at a dead end with a man who just wants her to smile.This short film involves SA references and deals with the emotional turmoil and after effects of the trauma that women have to go through. This unique depiction shows a woman who has previously been sexually assaulted however, uses the pain and trauma to try and make the streets a better place by getting rid of predatory men who have bad intentions to vulnerable people.Through this film we want to be able to give victims of sexual assault a character who is seen to be strong and confident that has also gone through the same thing as them. So that they can embody Adira as a character and hopefully be inspired by her strength. That they aren’t weak for what they have gone through.
