We are shooting a Haunted Hotel movie in the local area and are looking for a set builder who could assist with the build of an elevator that we could shoot some scenes in? We would propose: 1x day of set up/building on the 16th December 1x day of de-rig on 20th December. We have a low budget for materials and labour of around £750, but would love to hear from anyone who thinks they could make this work and has some ideas. The elevator doesn't need to be functional, or electronic in any way, just appear like it would be on screen - we have some ideas of how to shoot around a low budget and modest set build design for this. And to manually open the doors etc with stage hands. The elevator is meant to look old and dishevelled so doesn't require expensive materials.Would be great to hear from anyone who has the skill set for this that we can chat to about it? Thanks!
