We are searching for a female voice actor to play the role of a computer-generated Mermaid in our student film. The premise is: a fisherman goes to a beach where a fabled mermaid is known to live. She is a mysterious entity believed to carry the dead onto the next realm. He is there to request his wife is carried on peacefully, but she suggests he can go to her and see her. She lures him toward the water and unbeknown to him prepares for attack.Ideally, we are looking for a deep, rich voice but would be open to hearing all types of female voices. As we need to begin the process of lip syncing the mermaid to the dialogue we would like to try and arrange to have the lines finished by the 7th of December latest. As we will also be animating to the voice, we need footage of your face preferably with a range of emotion. We know this is a big ask and if you have any issues with it, please let us know early, the footage will not be shown anywhere and will have its sole use in animation reference for us.The piece consists of 4 lines from the mermaid and so we would be looking to pay £40 for our voice actress. Our voice actress will also be credited in the film which will be submitted to multiple film awards and seen by major Film studios.We look forward to hearing all applicants!
