CASTING IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE - PAID ;Alcotraz Liverpool (An Inventive Production)Inventive Productions have successfully been running immersive cocktail experiences across the UK since 2017, most notably: - - Alcotraz Penitentiary - an immersive prison experience in London, Brighton, and most recently Manchester.
We are now looking to expand our talented actor pool for our Alcotraz experience in Liverpool, which opened March 2022. The concept of show/experience is that guests smuggle in their liquor with the help of the Prison Guards and hide it from the Warden. Inmates (an expert team of mixologists) make unique cocktails, while guests become a part of the immersive show lead by the Guards, a Warden, and an Inmate (actors).We would love to see some self tapes for these characters! Big, colourful, and fun! This is a workplace comedy, not a real prison experience. Please see the Example Monologue(s) for each character, and then tape yourself doing a version of it. Feel free to change lines and add in your own interpretation of the character. Do not worry about being completely memorised. This is an improvised show around a narrative structure, and we're looking for Liverpool based actors (all ages, genders, ethnicities and backgrounds) with excellent improv skills and American accents to join our actor pool as Guards, Wardens, and Inmates. There are a few different positions and responsibilities available ranging in pay per hour, invoiced as self-employed and paid weekly. Following auditions, successful candidates will be offered positions based on their performance at the audition as well appetite for responsibility. The experience runs every Tuesday-Sunday. It’s VERY flexible, and we’re looking for actors both regular shifts and those who want to dip in and out around other acting work.
