THE SCHOOL is an independent drama school in North London, established by long-serving staff members of the Poor School.
2 YEAR ACTING TRAINING
This 100% practical, conservatoire-level training covers classical, contemporary and musical theatre and includes specialist work in voice, movement, singing, clowning, dance, animal study & stage combat. Classes are structured over evenings and weekends, thereby allowing students to work and earn whilst they train. Delivered by an exceptional staff team with a proven record of successfully preparing actors for the industry, the training culminates in a public season of plays and two industry showcases in London. Our graduates are eligible for Spotlight membership and student/graduate membership of Equity.
There is no upper age limit and we welcome talented students from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Entry is by audition or by participation on one of our short courses. Candidates may choose between a face-to-face or video call audition.

4 DAY ACTING INTENSIVE

This intensive schedule of acting study, directed scenes, voice, movement and Shakespeare monologues can be enjoyed as a standalone course or treated as an audition for the 2 year Acting Training at The School.
