Theatre Lab Company and the artistic director Anastasia Revi, offer an 8-week online course for new theatre directors. Participants will be introduced to the theory of directing and the history of theatre and explore the great master’s work performed in small and big scale production worldwide. They will learn about the various aspects of theatre directing, from pre-production to rehearsals to production, and understand how to strike a good balance whilst working simultaneously with actors, creative and technical teams.

Session 4:
• Selecting the play
• Reasons for this choice.
• The writer and his/her life, themes and era.
• The social and political influences of that time
• Classics vs Modern plays
Session 5:
• Director’s Concept

• Story board of the play
