Based on a novel called "the Silent Patient' this miniseries portrays a shrink called Theo that gets a new job on a mental asylum called "the Grove". In there there is a patient called Alicia Berenson that has been accused of murdering her own husband. There weren't enough proofs to perhaps have her as the killer, however the reason why she was chosen guilty by the jury was because she hasn't said a single word since that event. After one year, Theo will now need to treat her to discover a mystery that has more than meets the eye.
