Project DetailsCasting "Mother's Day," a play. It follows the story of Jasmine, a rough sleeper who has a child in care and is struggling with her addiction and Tillie, a 19-year-old under the influence of recreational drugs who has missed the last bus home.
The play takes place over one evening and sees the women finding common ground through their painful past experiences. With themes of addiction, homelessness and motherhood, the play seeks to challenge common perceptions and provoke debate about an issue that has worsened in the wake of the Covid 19 crisis. -
