Synopsis: It's 2030, London UK. Due to the introduction of AI into industries predominantly worked by the lower classes, unemployment is at an all-time high, people living below the poverty line is in its millions, and Government support for those seeking benefits is at its breaking point, but of course, the Politicians won’t be admitting it any time soon. Sienna is a 24-year-old woman, living on the Helgate Council Estate in London. Her job as a customer service assistant at a local call centre has just been eradicated due to the above. Not only has she lost her only source of income, she’s just found out she’s pregnant and the father has made it clear he has no interest in being involved or supporting her. Sienna, out of options and with growing concerns about the welfare of her unborn baby,makes an appointment with the department of work and Pensions to see what her entitlements are. After all, shes been a tax paying citizen since the age of 16, what could go wrong? During the interview which seemingly goes from bad to worse to worser, Sienna is alerted about the change in laws surrounding low income families and the reduction of said financial support by the Government for the lower classes. You can’t get any financial support anymore no, but you can get an abortion, right there and then, its a brand new Government Funded Scheme.
