Casting "Burning Pages," a short film.

Logline: Lisane (19) embarks on a journey through the streets of London to find peace with losing the part of herself that will always be in love with Ben (23).

Plot Summary: The film starts off with Lisane kneeling next to Ben’s bed. They are face to face; he sleeps peacefully as she strokes his hair. She gets up and says an unheard goodbye to him. She stands by the door and lights a match.
Throughout the film we follow Lisane’s journey across the streets of London. She experiences deep emotions of fear and anger on her journey which guide her through the grief of losing someone who is still there but will never be the same person from your memory. She has a last conversation with Ben on the swing sets of a playground, it forces her to realise that he is the source of her pain, even if it is not his direct intention. She leaves him, marking the end of their chapter together. By the end, she is able to start relearning how to be her own person and finds a sense of peace with walking away from a love, she knows she will always feel.
