    Looking to appoint an experienced Senior Technician with a specialism in Stage to work alongside our existing technical team. You should be committed to high-quality work and have a keen interest in working in producing theatre. You will be joining our existing LX, Sound and Stage Technicians in our evolving team as we look ahead to an exciting programme for 2024, providing an excellent service to our customers, visiting artists and community users.

  • Contract Details
    Salary £27,950 per annum; This is an annualized hours contract averaging 43 hours per week (pro rata if less than a full year). Hours worked will be reviewed annually on 31 March; Type of Contract, Holiday Entitlement – 31 Days per annum (including Bank Holidays) plus Christmas Day; Pension – 5% Employee, Pension contribution and 3% Employer Pension Contribution. The Company operates an Occupational Defined Contribution Scheme, provided by NOW: Pensions.  Annual leave is 31 days paid holiday in each financial year (pro rata for part- time/part year), plus Christmas Day. This allowance takes account of weeks which include statutory holidays, for which no additional allowance or payment will be made.  The post will be offered subject to the following:  References satisfactory to Theatre by the Lake.  A minimum six-month probationary period (full-time position).  Evidence of right to work in the UK as defined by the Home Office.  Standard terms and conditions apply to staff of Cumbria Theatre Trust (Theatre by the Lake). These will form part of a formal contract of employment.
