We are looking for an experienced Additional Support Tutor to join the Academy’s Student Support Team. You will provide study skills support for students with a wide range of issues in the context of undergraduate and postgraduate study in the specialist music area of Higher Education. The purpose of this is to equip students with strategies to support their learning so that they are not disadvantaged and to enable them to reach their true potential.You will act as the first point of contact for providing advice to students affected by specific learning differences including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD and Autism, using multi-sensory and student-centred strategies and you will also act as a resource for teaching staff across the Academy.
