LOGLINE:

A retired woman, a middle-aged French salesman and an aspiring English orchestral conductor encounter one another in the hotel lobby, endlessly waiting for their delayed flight to New York. The clash of three generations and cultures force them to reflect upon their life and change their perspectives.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS:

A Hotel in London. Strangers, KAYLA (24), GAIL (73) and YANNICK (47) are getting ready to leave for a flight to New York. However, in turn they learn that their plane has been delayed due to strikes.

This musical explores the lives of the main three protagonists through experiences and song. We see them at their best and at their worst, we explore all the skeletons in closets.

All three have to take care of a little boy called MATTHAN (5) and through the responsibility, it reflects the problems in their own lives and we learn what they are running away from going to New York.

They face personal crossroads, conflict and constant fights with destiny, but they find happiness in the simplest of moments. The clash of generations and cultures adds to the conflict and appreciation as they gain a unique insight into the people and worlds around them, something they would not get if they didn’t stop and look around.
