The Manager Production Finance position plays a key role in budgeting and forecasting all Sony Pictures Animation titles throughout the production process (development, production and post).  The position works directly with senior business leaders, producers and crew on all SPA films.  The individual creates detailed budgets and schedules for multiple projects simultaneously, works with filmmakers to accurately forecast milestone changes and cost impacts. This is a highly influential role, requiring a self-starter with team oriented approach, forging partnerships with producers, production managers and studio executives.Responsibilities: Manage budgeting for all feature films in development and production.Manage cost report forecasting and updated schedule impacts.Develop and analyze story turnover schedules for SPA and show plans (departmental quota schedules) for SPI in cooperation with Producers, Production Managers and the Head of ProductionWork with production to identify schedule risks and develop cost effective solutions.Ad hoc production labor and costs analysis for operations to improve labor utilization.Education, Years of Experience, Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required:Prefer MBA3-5 Years of ExperienceAdvanced Excel SkillsProficient with SAPFeature Animation ExperienceKnowledge of Union Agreements and Labor Rules
