    The Spur-Of-The-Moment Shakespeare Collective is holding COMPANY AUDITIONS for the 2018 season On April 19th and 21st.This season is inclusive to the Shakespeare-In-Hospitals Project, starting in the last week of August. We are very interested in meeting classical actors who reflect the full cultural diversity of Toronto.The SHAKESPEARE-IN-HOSPITALS PROGRAM (SIH) provides performance opportunities to emerging artists while addressing physical, economic, and social barriers to community and arts engagement commonly encountered in the healthcare sector using classical text. The ensemble tours to select hospitals, senior residences, hospices and shelters across Toronto and the G.T.A.TO SUBMIT: Please send a headshot and resume to Victoria Urquhart at shakespur@gmail.com with AUDITION REQUEST in the subject line. Applicants will be asked to submit a cover letter outlining your interest in the program and any community experience you have.REHEARSALS:SIH- First week of September until 3rd week of October.PERFORMANCE:SIH- one-to-two times per week from October 22nd to December 15th, plus 4 showcase performances to the public.PAY:SIH- Indie 2.2 Agreement pending grant status, otherwise Collective Agreement.DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: April 16th at midnight.Successful applicants will be contacted for an audition.
